Three women accused of putting pepper in another woman’s private parts for allegedly having an affair with their husbands have been charged with sexual harassment.
The three, Monica Jeptum, Joyce Jerobon and Caroline Jerotich, were alleged to have carried out the act against the 24-year-old woman on October 1 in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu county.
They were also charged with assaulting and injuring the victim.
They denied the charges when they were presented before the senior judge of the Eldoret court Mogire Onkoba on Wednesday.
They were released on cash bail of Ksh. 100,000 pending mentioning of the case on November 4.
